Landon is 2!

Sweet, sweet little Landon...
...you are TWO YEARS OLD TODAY!!! I cannot believe it. These last two years have gone by so unbelievably fast. It feels like just yesterday that I held you in my arms, your little pouty bottom lip poking out. In fact, you still pull the pouty lip on us quite often. You have perfected it. You are our sweet snuggly boy with a wild and crazy side as well. You are 100% boy, the roughest, messiest, loudest, most fearless little 25-pounder I've ever seen.

You have started talking up a storm and are talking in sentences, usually consisting of questions or demands. You use the potty about 50% of the time just because your sister does (we haven't started training yet), sleep 11 hours at night, and take a 2 hour nap each day. You're in 18-24 month clothes and have slimmed down into your little toddler body. You don't look much like a baby anymore but you are the cutest little boy I've ever seen. We are going to have issues with the girls in the future, I'm afraid. You still have your great grandpapa's baby blue eyes and you look an awful lot like your daddy. You just got your 3rd haircut and still have a mouthful of teeth. You still don't have your 2 year molars, but I'm sure they'll be here in the near future. You are in preschool 2 days a week for 4 hours and you LOVE it. Your teachers say you are always great and happy. Being in the church nursery since a few months old has paid off!
You LOVE your sister. She's your best friend and favorite playmate. Y'all are the best of friends and worst of enemies. Perfect for each other.

You love brushing your teeth, washing your hands, playing in any water, playing with wipes and cleaning with paper towels, brooms, vacuums, mops, and dusters. You love lawnmowers, cars, trucks, airplanes, motorcycles, helicopters, rocks, sticks, dirt, balloons (baboons), balls, bubbles, ice cream, marshmallows, broccoli, cheese, pancakes, candy, cookies, coke, ring pops, lollipops, everyone else's drink/food, Mommy, games on Mommy's phone, the book Goodnight Moon, the color blue, "Mom" (Grandmommy), playing outside, rain, stomping ants, "doggy" (your favorite stuffed animal) and playing/jumping into a pile of pillows.

Here you are this morning, bright and early before church. Missing a sock. You were humoring me while I made a big deal of today.
You had a big party yesterday with family and a few friends and will be having another one soon with more family. You are one special and loved little boy! You have brought so much joy to our lives and we love you SO much!! Happy 2nd birthday, big boy!
