How Many Adults Does It Take to Herd 10 Three Year Olds

Or a simpler title: Madison's 1st Soccer Game.

Madison plays for One Goal Sports which is a great Christian organization. They started off all the games with a prayer over the loud speaker. Madison's team is the Dinosaurs, or Dino's. I'm pretty sure she's the youngest on the team since her birthday was the cut off date, but she did great! She's 1 of 2 girls on her team of 10.

Getting ready to start, playing defense.

She got to kick a goal kick. Just like her momma used to do. I was proud.

High-fiving the other team at the end.
Landon wanted to get out and play, too.
Our little star after the game. She took a little bit to get warmed up to it, but she eventually got the hang of it. She's gradually getting more aggressive, although most of the time she would just stop if someone got hurt or fell on the ground. She'd go over and make sure they were ok.
Overall the game was hilarious. I knew it would be with a bunch of 3 year olds. There were parents, coaches, and the ref on the field. I can't even tell you the score because I'm not sure. I know the other team won by a few goals even though we were the first to score. One of our kids kicked it in our own goal which I knew would happen at some point! The kids followed the ball and kept playing even when it went off the field and the ref had to chase them down/grab it from them several times. Several kids were crying, had to be dragged on or off the field, etc. So much fun. I'm looking forward to the rest of the games.
