Burt's Farm 2011

We decided to head up to Burt's Farm this year which is always so much fun. It is probably the best pumpkin farm in North Georgia and they have such good stuff. My favorite is their apple butter and I tried one of their delicious pumpkin breads as well as a butternut squash. They always have huge pumpkins-I think one year (before kids) Brad and I brought home a 70-75 lb. pumpkin. Of course they have the little ones too, one in every size. It was very crowded since we went on a Saturday but the trees were beautiful and the weather was PERFECT. We wanted to do the hayride but the line just to get tickets was sooo long. Plus it was so expensive. $18 for the 4 of us to ride on hay is not something we can afford! Anyways this was Landon's first time at Burt's since we didn't go last year, but we took Madison the year before. I can't believe how little she was!!

The kids had a great time picking out their pumpkins! We let them ride next to each other to see how they'd do, and they had a blast. They have decided they like to hold hands...sooo sweet!!
And they have the same sleeping patterns...too funny!
Leaning toward each other....
 and away...
 everyone to the left...
 and everyone to the right...
It was very sunny...
A pumpkin 3 times his size :)

Someone please tell this child's legs to stop growing!
Pointing at all the pumpkins!
She was determined to drive the wheelbarrow by herself.
The pumpkin Madison picked out.
Landon's little pumpkin!
I walked up and this was how Madison was standing...
Hard to get a picture of everyone smiling...can you tell Landon was loving it?

After we got done, it was time for a snack in the back of the car. Yummy popcorn.

Mmmm....
Beautiful scenery.
